The Cow Creek Band is managing about 48,000 acres of Tribal forestland in central Oregon. As the Tribe conducts forest restoration activities across this forestland, small sub-merchantable logs and cull logs are generated. TSS is helping the Tribe with value-added utilization alternatives, (thus minimizing the need for pile and burn disposal) including the potential to site a small bioenergy project on Tribal land.
