Blue Mountain Electric Company USDA Loan Guarantee Feasibility, Environmental, and Technical Assessments

Transpecos Bank has retained TSS to conduct USDA Rural Energy of America Program (REAP) assessments of the 3MW Blue Mountain Electric Company biomass power facility in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Wilseyville, California.  Transpecos Bank will use these required assessments produced by TSS to seek a USDA loan guarantee for the BMEC facility.  The assessment includes financial, environmental, feedstock supply and technology analysis to ascertain viability of the planned project.  This project is one of the first Category 3 (forest-sourced biomass as the feedstock) California Bioenergy Market Adjusting Tariff (BioMAT) power plants to seek a USDA loan guarantee.
