National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Retains TSS as Shared Stewardship Advisor

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has selected TSS to serve as the Shared Stewardship Advisor for the South Sierra region of California.  Effective January 2021, TSS will provide support for cross-boundary forest restoration and fuels treatment projects ranging from Angels Camp to Mammoth Lakes.  This three year assignment will require TSS to help initiate and coordinate landscape level projects involving all land ownerships (e.g., cross-boundary) including four national forests; Stanislaus, Sierra, Sequoia and Inyo.  Ultimately the goal is to support the Shared Stewardship Agreement’s target of one million acres of treatment per year commencing 2025.
